It belongs to Pichincha Holdings LLC, owned by Dr. Fidel Egas Grijalva, who is also the majority owner of Banco Pichincha Holdings Group and Intercredit Bank in Miami. Founded in 1906, Banco Pichincha Holding Group is the majority shareholder of the largest private commercial bank in Ecuador, as well as banks in Spain, Colombia, Peru, Panama, and an agency in Miami.
